I’m pretty OK with instruction manuals, though I’m not known for actually reading them. This one caught me by surprise though, so I actually read it. Instructions on how to use a North Queensland beach:
Some of it makes sense, like no camping, no littering etc. But I find it quite excessive to make it illegal to jump over cars with motorbikes (specifically on the beach) and force everyone to wear a hat. Considering the detail put into the sign, it is also remarkable that they missed one:
There you go. We have crocodiles, sharks, snakes and the infamous “dangerous tree”. Apparently it can make you go blind (not kiddin). Anyone for a swim?
